We are always recruiting tutors who can teach (not just demonstrate) concepts in a manner that our students can relate to and process.
Description:
- Help the student understand and complete homework.
- Help the student learn to study in ways that are effective for his learning style and appropriate for the class (studying for a math test is different than studying for an in-class English essay).
- Drive to students in various areas of Orange County.
- Re-teach concepts as needed using your own creative methods.
- Through questioning and observing the student, identify his specific area of difficulty and quickly find a way to clarify the concept.
- Motivate the student to reach his potential.
- Mentor the student to stay interested in education.
- Apprise the parent of the student’s progress, success, and further needs.
- Connect with the teacher regarding student’s assignments and grades (if needed).
- Report hours, progress, and concerns to Clarity Learning staff.

- Creative

- Dynamic and patient
- Able to laugh with the student
- Absolutely fluent in English and able to speak, joke, and teach in a way that an Orange County teenager can relate to!
- Enrolled in or have completed college
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of documented tutoring experience
